Great video thanks,I like the way you present everything, no bias towards product, just your feels and experiences. It was cool to see all of your things you carry and know I have some of the same things. Being that this year is my first year hunting I am having a hard time bring the right things. I don't have a four wheeler, so what ever I use, I have to carry.I have one large bag with two small bags inside all total 22lbs. One small bag is just my tree stand things bungee cords, carabiners, tree saw and such. In the other small bag I have sent killer, calls, gutting gloves, tree markers, wind powder, headlamp. The big bag has large knife, binoculars, water, extra gloves, extra release, bags, wipes, sharpener, some clothes and a few other little things. My stand is old, doesn't fold down, weighs 25lbs, and I don't feel comfortable leaving it locked up on game lands. Most of the time I end up wearing my harness, carrying the tree stand bag and the other small bag and leaving the rest in the car so I can carry the stand. Or I go the day before put up the stand lock it up. Of course I left some out, but it seems like everything I do is inefficient. I think I need a lighter stand.
i found this very helpful. I am just starting out and find this informitive.
