      While I agree with what you have said, I believe there are 2 factors that are missed on this subject.

      1. Most measure K.E. at the front of their bow, not their effective range. This can drop quickly on some bow setups.

      2. I think momentum is more important, as this will assist in maintaining the K.E. down range. I am getting 60 ft lb of K.E. at 70yds. To me that is better than having it at 10 yds. It's night a right or wrong as they all tie together.

      Without, diverting too much we must all have the all important razor sharp broadhead and best shot placement.

      I have researched and tested this to almost sickening degrees as I have a 27" draw length, while pulling 75lbs. Do you know how difficult it is to setup an arrow that is over 425gns to spine correctly?

      I drove my archery shop nuts!!! But, my setup is dead nuts and next week we are putting it through the Hooter Shooter with broadheads, just to make sure.
